My card has been declined
Please check you have entered the card details correctly, such as card number, expiry date and security code. If these are correct then please contact your bank as a decline usually indicates a lack of funds in your account.

The issue number is invalid
The Issue number should be left blank for most cards. Only some older Maestro cards have issue numbers (these will not have a start date). If you have a start date on your card there will not be an issue number.

Can I order tickets for a friend using my card?
If you are also attending the event this is no problem as long as you take your payment card with you. If you are not attending, then we ask that your friend books using their own card.

I don't have a printer. Can I still buy eTickets?
Yes, your email is simply a confirmation and is not required for entry. You can also request an SMS with your order number which you are advised to keep with you, just in case of any queries.

Why am I asked to enter a 'Verified By Visa/Mastercard' password when purchasing tickets?
This is a new scheme introduced by Visa and Mastercard to help prevent fraud online. It is similar to the Chip and Pin scheme used in shops and ensures that even if your card is stolen, purchases can only be made by yourself. Sometimes this additional security procedure is a little slow, however it should give you a warm glow inside knowing that your card details are being kept secure.

Why do you charge a booking fee?
We pay the full face value of each ticket back to the promoter. The booking fee (usually 5%-15%) is our revenue, which covers card processing fees, administration, customer services and keeping our offices warm.

Do you charge a handling fee?
On 99% of our tickets we don't charge a handling fee. Some promoters stipulate in their contracts that we have to charge a fee, in which case this has to be passed on but we do our very best not to charge this wherever possible.

What's the difference between Recorded Delivery and Special Delivery?
Recorded and Special delivery require a signature upon delivery. Special Delivery also offers insurance, so if you tickets are lost you can claim for the value of the tickets. Recorded delivery is not an insured service so we cannot reimburse you for tickets lost in the post. If you are ordering close to the event date, we recommend Special Delivery as this is a faster service.

I have changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non refundable for all events. If you can no longer go, we can in some circumstances, as a goodwill gesture, offer to transfer them to another customer. Please call us for more advice as this is not available on all tickets.

I have ordered tickets for the wrong date/event. Can I get a refund?
If you have made a genuine error when purchasing and you call us immediately we may be able to amend the order. You must call us the same day to rectify any faults, and it is entirely at our discretion to rectify any errors you may have made.

I have purchased RapidScan tickets but now I don't have access to a printer
RapidScan tickets are designed to allow fast entry, so you must print your ticket before entry so the door staff can scan your ticket. If you cannot print them, please call the office so we can transfer you to the regular eTickets list. If you have left the printing of your tickets to the last minute and we're not open, all we can advise is that you turn up with additional ID. The door staff can look your order up, but this is at their discretion and may not be possible during busy periods so please turn up early. Please note we cannot guarantee entry if you don't take your ticket and no refunds will be available if you haven't followed the instructions and taken your printed ticket.

I've not received my email confirmation/I've deleted my email confirmation?
You can reissue your confirmation at www.skiddle.com/orders. If the email address you entered is incorrect, please check your order status page where you can update your details for free. Remember you don't need the confirmation to enter the event - just ensure you take your payment debit/credit card with you!

The debit/credit card I used to pay has been lost/replaced?
In this case we advise you to take additional proof of ID with you and print your confirmation email. If your replacement card number has the same last 4 digits you can take this card instead.

When will my tickets get delivered?
Please check your email receipt for details of delivery - many tickets are electronic so will not come by post. Full details are in your email confirmation.

I was refused entry on the door, can I get a refund?
Event promoters and door staff reserve the right to refuse entry for health and safety or any other reason they feel is reasonable (such as you turning up drunk or inappropriately dressed). In this case you should be refunded the face value of your tickets by the door staff if you have not already entered. As we are not part of this process we ask that you contact the venue or promoter should you have any queries regarding an entry refusal.

I have a complaint regarding the running of the event
As you can appreciate the running of the venue is entirely down to the event promoter and it's very difficult for us to mediate in any disputes. We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy yourself, but please contact the event promoter directly
